Holy Family Youth Ministry
Grades 3rd - 12th

Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.” – Timothy 4:12

Holy Family Youth Ministry blends traditions with fun activities to allow our teens to thrive in friendship and personal holiness. Our youth ministry consists of three groups:

  • Rise (3rd grade – 5th grade)
  • Edge (6th grade – 8th grade)
  • Life Teen (9th grade – 12th grade)

These groups meet every Sunday night following the 5 pm youth mass from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. During this time, we provide dinner (which are welcome to family members), activities, talks, games, and various opportunities to invite our youth into deeper relationships and formation. Along with our Youth Nights, we also take various trips throughout the year. These trips include, but are not limited to, DBYC (Diocese of Biloxi Catholic Youth Conference), the March for Life, Steubenville, Covecrest, and Hidden Lake. Our main goal is to introduce our youth to the Person of Jesus Christ and the teachings of His Church through community, prayer, formation, and service.

Along with our youth, we have a team of adults that help with

our Youth Nights and trips taken throughout the year. This team

of adults is known as our CORE Team. In this team, our volunteers

aim to not only aid in forming the hearts of our youth, but also

their own. Whether they are setting up our conference center

or planning talks for our youth, our CORE Team is driven to lead

our young people and draw them to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
